The Dark Legions Archive appeared on the web in 1993, but existed in other forms online for five years before that. During the late 1980s the band became quite popular, also touring and taking part in larger festivals around Europe. The band was founded by the brothers Jon and Criss Oliva in the late 1970s, but it wasn’t before 1983 that the first record was released (Sirens).
